Project title: An Investigation Into the Feasibility of Motorcycle Hybridization

Project Overview

The goal of this project was to develop a Simulink model capable of accurately modelling a hybrid system that could be realistically implemented for consumer motorcycles. The results achieved from the project indicated that by adding a series type hybrid system the average range was extended by 22.15% for a typical drive cycle, and for regulated and steady state drive cycles the range was extended by an average of 26.0%.

Why did you choose this course?

The specialisation in Motorcycle engineering was the main draw along with the practical teaching methods.

Why did you choose to attend UWTSD?

The most reputable Motorcycle engineering course, basically the only one!

What are your future plans?

Currently peruse work as a Mechanical Engineer and once the world returns to normal hopefully seek a Motorsport related position.
